Born in New York City to a family of actors, writers and poets, Thea Constantine grew up in Hollywood CA and has worked as an award winning performer, director, filmmaker, producer, screenwriter and playwright. She is a certified facilitator in the Amherst Writers and Artists method and teaches writing workshops with PDX Writers. Her short stories have most recently appeared in the Watercress Journal, ‘In Focus’, the quarterly magazine of the PEN Cyprus Center, Stellazine, Roving Writers, “On the Yellow Line” a running column for Street Roots, and serial Portlandia  ( I know I know) for the on-line magazine The Black Boot. She is currently working on her first novel “Stumptown”. She lives in Portland Oregon with the love of her life, musician David Minick and her singing cat Chupacabra.
